Today is a very sad and emotional day at BC HRMA. As many of you know, Lynn Webb Thomas, director of Business Development and Conference, has been fighting leukemia for a number of years.

I am sorry to let you know that, with her family by her side, Lynn passed away yesterday. Please keep your thoughts of Lynn, her family, and friends in your heart.

Below are the details for Lynn’s memorial services:

• Viewing to be held between 6:00 and 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 31st, 2011, at the Glenhaven Memorial Chapel (reception area) 1835 East Hastings, Vancouver BC.
• Memorial to be held at 4:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 East Hastings, Vancouver BC.
• Lynn will be placed alongside her parents at the Lakeview Cemetery, Kelowna BC at 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2011.  A reception will be held at the Springfield Funeral Home at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Light The Night Walk,” October 15, 2011 c/o The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
