HRMA Congratulates 2014 CHRP Graduates

HRMA proudly celebrates the success of those who attain the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation.

The CHRP designation represents a commitment to a national standard of excellence, sets a benchmark for the practice of effective human resources, and emphasizes the strategic role of HR. Those who earn the national designation are among the most accomplished professionals in business today.

Congratulations to all 2014 CHRP graduates!

To recognize the achievement of the new CHRPs, HRMA hosted many regional celebrations:

Central Interior
The Central Interior CHRP recognition event was held in December at the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel in Kamloops as part of the regional Annual Holiday Jingle Mingle. A particularly jolly time was had with Dickens’ themed festivities and a full Christmas dinner.

The Southern Interior CHRP recognition event was held in conjunction with the annual regional Holiday Jingle Mingle for the first time. This was in December at the historic Hotel Eldorado in Kelowna where this seasonal event had a ‘Classic Christmas’ theme including live entertainment, canapé reception, and auctions. Local new CHRPs were honoured in front of approximately 100 of their peers by Christian Codrington, CHRP, Director of Regulatory Affairs and Member Value who spoke to the added value the designation brings in today’s environment and the dedication needed by the new graduates to attain it.

Vancouver Island
The Vancouver Island Region celebrated their new CHRPs with a reception held at the top of the city, for the top of the class of 2014. We also recognized our Emerging Professional of the Year with an award to attend the 2015 HRMA Conference + Tradeshow. Thanks to all who attended and congratulations to the newly designated CHRPs.
