The Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation is not only gaining recognition coast to coast in Canada—it is attracting global interest, most recently Down Under.

As much was expressed by Alex Malley, president and CEO of CPA Australia, during discussions with HRMA in November 2014. Those discussions culminated in February 2015 with HRMA president and CEO Anthony Ariganello and HRMA chair Shannon Railton, CHRP joining Massey to  sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the associations.

Massey gave voice to the benefit and potential of mutually recognized agreements moving forward. With 155,000 members worldwide, he  expressed the belief that many would be highly interested in obtaining the CHRP designation, opening an international membership pathway for HRMA which does not currently exist.
