As we close the final chapter on 2025 and embrace the possibilities of 2026, the PD team is excited to reflect on a year full of progress and accomplishments. From pushing boundaries to achieving key milestones, we’ve laid a strong foundation for continued growth and innovation in the new year to come.

Symposium Highlights

Annual Northern Symposium in Prince George, BC

The PD team made waves by delivering several dynamic and engaging in-person events. These gatherings exceeded expectations, drawing in a vibrant mix of attendees eager to connect and learn. A big shout-out goes to our amazing Member Relations Managers—Tim, Quinne, and Carolyne—and to Rob, our Sponsorship Manager, whose creative outreach and strategic marketing efforts ensured that each event was not only well-attended but also memorable.

We kicked off the year with our Annual Legal Symposium, offering essential legal updates on AI in the workplace, employee terminations, and workplace accident responses. Keynote sessions provided attendees with critical insights into emerging legal challenges and practical strategies to navigate them.

Mid-year, we hosted a virtual symposium focused on damages in workplace claims, employee terminations, and workplace investigations. Where strategies were shared to manage workplace claims and reduce liability, while providing updates on the latest case law and best practices for terminations and investigations.
