Carolyne Taylor has made a lifetime of helping others.

On May 11, 2013, her efforts were recognized with a special award at the Women of Worth (WOW) Conference in Burnaby, BC. While Taylor was originally nominated and selected as a finalist for the Spirit, Soul and Success award by a colleague, the panel created a new award, Humanitarian of the Year, to honour and recognize her many contributions to communities near and far.

As founder of 24 Carrot Learning and YoUnlimited, Taylor has gone to great lengths to support the strength of women, both in BC and beyond. Whether raising money for Bridges for Women in Victoria, the Dirty Wall Project in India or the Girls Can Be Women Centre in India, Taylor’s humanitarian dedication is an inspiration for all—and very well a lifesaver for those in need.

In addition to these many accomplishments and initiatives, for the past 24 years Taylor has served as BC HRMA’s Vancouver Island member relations manager, facilitating and supporting professional development in the field of human resources.
